Support Qantas Workers

Alan Joyce, CEO of Qantas, will be speaking at Angel Place Recital Hall tomorrow. He has been invited to do so as part of UNSW’s “Meet the CEO” Series.
In response, a rally has been called in support of Qantas workers. NTEU members, and members from other unions, will be gathering at the entrance to the meeting from 5pm. We are calling on all supporters of Qantas staff to attend.
As NTEU members would be aware, the Transport Workers Union (TWU), The Licensed Aircraft Engineers Union (ALAEA) and the Pilots Association (APIA) have each been struggling with Qantas management for reasonable pay increases, job security and improved conditions for many months.
